PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the diopter adjusting function conforming to the eyesight of a user of an EVF device has been provided with an insufficient adjusting range. SOLUTION: The aperture restriction device includes: a rotating piece 101 having driving projections B<SB>1</SB>103 and B<SB>2</SB>104 on one side thereof; and an aperture restriction holder 105 having a rotation restricting part 106 on one side thereof and having guide grooves B<SB>1</SB>107 and B<SB>2</SB>108 on the other side thereof, in which the driving projections B<SB>1</SB>103 and B<SB>2</SB>104 are separately fitted. By rotating the rotating piece 101, the driving projections B<SB>1</SB>103 and B<SB>2</SB>104 advance/separate to/from the guide grooves B<SB>1</SB>107 and B<SB>2</SB>108, respectively, and then, the aperture restriction holder 105 is moved in a direction shown by an arrow X.
