PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To outstandingly enhance the fatigue strength and life of a compression coil spring. SOLUTION: The compression coil spring is provided with two end winding springs and each one transfer range subsequently to the respective end winding springs as a suspension spring used from a wheel suspension of an automobile provided with a spring strut having a compression coil spring (=support spring) bonded to a body at one side and bonded to a wheel at the other side respectively and guiding the wheel and a transverse link. In this case, the end winding spring 7 and/or the transfer range of the compression coil is additionally machined by deep rolling and/or beat hardening. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
