This front end (2) comprises a front bonnet (4) at whose rear is defined a zone (10) for capturing outside air, at least one side wing (16), and at least one elongate part (18) for supporting the wing, this part being designed to be fastened to a chassis element of the vehicle (1) so as to extend lengthwise at the junction between the wing and the bonnet, and including, in its rear portion, a partition (30) for fastening the wing that is designed to separate this zone (10) in a sealed manner from the rest (12) of the under-bonnet volume. To improve the sealing of the lateral ends of the zone for capturing outside air, the front end additionally comprises a transverse scuttle (14) arranged under the bonnet and partly defining the zone for capturing outside air, the partition having a transverse wall (34) which extends in the continuation of a lateral transverse wall (14A) of the scuttle.
