The invention relates to a mechanism for towing industrial vehicles, which is intended for the fifth wheel of truck tractors. The invention comprises a main frame (1), the lower part of which is equipped with a kingpin (2) which is coupled to the fifth wheel of a truck tractor (3). In addition, the invention comprises a vertical tilting frame (8) which is actuated by hydraulic cylinders. Said vertical frame (8) serves as a support for the frame (10) that is used to support the towed vehicle, which is also articulated and actuated by hydraulic cylinders. The vehicle support frame is equipped with two extendable telescopic arms (11) which are actuated by hydraulic cylinders and which slide beneath the chassis of a vehicle (13) that has been damaged or involved in an accident such as to hitch the vehicle thereto using chains and, in this way, raise the axle that is anchored to the adjustable supports (16). The new embodiment of the vehicle support frame comprises a single central telescopic arm and a single extension cylinder for same. The front part of the vehicle support frame is equipped with a winch (18) for auxiliary towing requirements and for initially pulling up the damaged vehicle.
