SPACER GRID SPRING FOR INCREASING THE CONFORMAL CONTACT AREA WITH FUEL ROD

A supporting grid spring for increasing a conformal contact area and a fuel rod is provided to form a uniform stress distribution by extending the conformal contact area and a contact unit of a supporting grid spring which is contacted with the fuel rod. A supporting grid spring for increasing a conformal contact area and a fuel rod includes upper/lower bottom units(15a,15b), left/right supporting bars(16a,16b), a bending unit with equal angles(17), and connection units(18a,18b). The upper/lower bottom units(15a,15b) are vertically extended and formed on lower/upper ends of a center unit of lower/upper plates(11a,11b). The left/right supporting bars(16a,16b) are symmetrically diverged and extended from the lower/upper bottom units(15a,15b). The bending unit with equal angles(17) is contacted with the fuel rod by protrusively forming in an opposite direction to a dimple from a center unit of the left/right supporting bars(16a,16b). A curve plane of a semi-circle shape is inwardly formed on lower/upper ends of the bending unit with equal angles(17). The connection units(18a,18b) are connected to the left/right supporting bars(16a,16b).
