<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of jointing firmly an electrolyte membrane, a catalyst layer, and a gas diffusion layer without giving damages to the electrolyte membrane, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell is provided with a fuel electrode 4a and an oxidizer electrode 4b containing at least a catalyst material and an ion conductive material on both sides of an electrolyte membrane.
