<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support device and a design support method, capable of facilitating design of wiring of a harness. <P>SOLUTION: The device comprises a CAD data reading processing part 15 for receiving CAD data of a part; a harness parameter reading processing part 16 for receiving physical characteristics of the harness; a wiring start point selection processing part 17 for receiving initial setting of view point and visual line direction; a harness generating direction reference plane selection processing part 18; a harness direction selection processing part 19; a means view point change processing part 21 for displaying a virtual three-dimensional image seen from the view point on a display according to the CAD data of the part and the initial setting; a view point movement processing part 23 for receiving a moving instruction of view point and visual line direction from a user; a movement locus harness wiring processing part 25 for performing wiring of the harness according to the movement instruction; and a harness wiring output processing part 26 for displaying, based on the CAD data of the part and the view point and visual line direction changed by the view line movement instruction, a virtual three-dimensional image seen from the changed view point on the display device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
