<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily position optical components in the XY directions and in the Z direction, easily hold the components and make them mutually removable. <P>SOLUTION: Magnets or magnetic material members 25, which set the positions of the connections of optical elements 21 and optical waveguides 11 and 31, are mounted on a base body 20. Magnetic material members 40, 50 and 36, which each have at least one optical waveguide 11 or 31, respectively, and are magnetically connected to at least two magnets or magnetic material members 25, are arranged in the partner members 10 and 30. The positional relations on opposite surfaces 15 and 35 between the magnets or magnetic material members 40, 50 and 36 and the optical waveguides 11 and 31 are the same as the positional relations between the magnets or magnetic material members 25 and the optical elements 21. The projection end surfaces 25a of the magnets or magnetic material members 25 are concavely, convexly fitted to the projection end surfaces 40a, 50a and 36a of the magnetic material members 40, 50 and 36. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
