<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber type optical path which is small in loss and can be manufactured inexpensively, and to provide a fiber type component and an optical module. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of optical fibers 4a, 4b having a graded index type fibers 7a, 7b at one end respectively are arranged so that the graded index type fibers 7a, 7b are close to each other at the tip end, with the axial directions shifted from each other. Also, between the graded index type fibers 7a, 7b of the pair of optical fibers, there is arranged a coreless fiber 8 having a reflection part 10 that reflects light from one optical fiber to the other, in a manner that the coreless fiber is connected to the tip ends of both optical fibers 4a, 4b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
