<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of surely preventing the damage of a device easily affected by thermal effect in the image forming apparatus by changing a power for driving a heat discharging apparatus in accordance with a temperature difference between a temperature inside the device including a heat source in the image forming apparatus body and the outside temperature of the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes an image fixing device therein; the image fixing device is provided with a fan 34 for discharging the heat from the inside of the image fixing device to the outside of the image forming apparatus, and also, a first Peltier element 30 is arranged while positioning one end part thereof outside the image forming apparatus and positioning the other end inside the image forming apparatus, to generate power in accordance with the temperature difference between the outside temperature of the image forming apparatus and the temperature inside the image fixing device, and the fan 34 is driven by the power of the first Peltier element 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
