<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and an image forming method by which a user is informed of inspection of an abnormal image due to unstable image-forming. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 is equipped with an image forming part 10. The image forming part 10 is equipped with: a DC power source 12; a voltage level detector 13; a printer control part 14; a display controller part 15; an environment sensor 16; and a residual amount sensor 17. The printer control part 14 compares a power source voltage value detected by the voltage level detector 13 with a power source voltage value stored after finishing an adjusting mode. When an obtained difference is equal to or above a threshold α, the printer control part 14 judges what is the start paper out of sheets which must be inspected based on judgement criteria, and when the difference is under the threshold α, it judges what is the finish paper out of the sheets which must be inspected based on the judgement criteria. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
