<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock-absorbing pad simultaneously satisfying sufficient shock absorbency, lightweightness, high air permeability, comfortable feeling of wear, fit, washing properties, or the like for bone fracture protection for an osteoporosis patient, body protection for a sports player, and injury protection for a care requiring patient, and to provide clothes attached with the shock-absorbing pad. <P>SOLUTION: This shock-absorbing pad is made of solid knitting composed of a three-dimensional fabric of front and back two layers and monofilament connecting yarn. The pad is such that the flexural rigidity coefficient B of the connecting yarn of (1) formula is 0.002-0.03, the ratio of a monofilament appearance area (A) of at least one side surface of the fabric to an appearance area (B) of fiber forming the other side of the fabric is 0≤A/B≤2.0, the elongation ratio of the longitudinal direction and/or the transverse direction per 14.7N/5cm width is 5-150%, and part of the connecting yarn has a form either of cross structure, a diagonal structure and a truss structure, when viewed from a knitting beginning direction. The pad satisfies the following (1): flexural rigidity coefficient B=D<SP>4</SP>×CO×WA×2/T<SP>2</SP>, wherein, D: diameter (mm) of the connecting yarn, T: thickness (mm) of the three dimensional fabric, CO: the number (number/2.54 cm) of courses of the connecting yarn, WA: the number (number/2.54 cm) of wales of the connecting yarn. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
