<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, at low cost, a structure which suppresses a defect in alignment state that a potential on a counter substrate side causes, is easily micromachined, and has superior flatness. <P>SOLUTION: On an array substrate 100, pixel electrodes 131 and a common electrode 133 are layered across an inter-layer insulating film 132, and the common electrode 133 is constituted as a conductive film positioned closest to liquid crystal 310 in a display region A10 of the array substrate 100. A light shield film 230 of a counter substrate 200 is formed of a metal film of chromium etc., and constituted as a conductive film positioned closest to the liquid crystal 310 in the display region A10. A conductive member 390 is arranged in contact with the common electrode 133 and light shield film 230, and consequently the same potential with the common electrode 133 is applied to the light shield film 230. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
