PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an ink cartridge by a resin metal mold forming process using a metal mold with a simple structure. SOLUTION: An ink tank 60 reserves ink and supports a sensor arm 70 in its inner section such that the sensor arm 70 can be swung in response to a residual amount of the ink. The ink tank 60 is configured of a box-shaped body 10 having a bottom with a main opening and a lid body 50 closing the main opening, each being formed of a resin material. An ink supplying channel 20 communicating with the ink tank 60 and an atmospheric air ventilation channel 30 are provided to a wall opposite to the main opening of the body 10.
