PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee the uniqueness of TID, and to secure the isolation property of transaction, and to perform transaction processing even when the unspecified number of management subjects exist. SOLUTION: This transaction processing system is provided with a plurality of transaction managers 102, 112, 122 and 132 for respectively managing objects 101, 111, 121 and 131. The transaction manager issues acceptance ID with uniqueness in which the processing order information of processing request messages is stored for every processing request message accepted from the other transaction managers, and the transaction manager managing an object which has started transaction collects the information of processing results corresponding to the processing request messages including the acceptance ID, and detects the duplication of the transaction ID from the information of the processing results corresponding to the collected processing request messages.
