PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a storage battery abnormality, such as deterioration, without having to carry out compulsory discharging. SOLUTION: This storage battery management device 10 for determining deterioration of each battery, constituting a batter pack 60, includes a voltage measuring part 11 for periodically measuring the inter-terminal voltage of the battery, and storing the measured result in a voltage storage part 41; a fluctuation detection part 22 for detecting that a prescribed fluctuation has occurred in a charge/discharge current of the battery; a variation acquisition part 21 for acquiring each inter-terminal voltage, measured prior to and after the fluctuation from the voltage storage part 41, and acquiring its variations; and an abnormality presence determining part 24 for determining the presence of a battery abnormality, based on the variation acquired by the variation acquisition part 21.
