PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information reproducing device in which error correction capability is improved by adding a disappearance pointer more efficiently. SOLUTION: In the information reproducing device, a position of an error caused in a second encoded data is obtained for respective compound encoded data reproduced by a plurality of number of times from an arbitrary position A of an information carrier, a clue position is decided by the number of times of errors, and the disappearance point is added.
