摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of suppressing a load on a drive mechanism for driving a component as much as possible even when the component stops in a halfway of its move. SOLUTION: A car navigation system 1 comprises: a device body; a display unit 3; a drive mechanism 4; a navigation unit 9; a ROM 6; and a CPU 8. The display unit 3 can freely move inside or outside the device body. The drive mechanism 4 is equipped with a motor 22 which moves in the display unit 3 and a temperature sensor 18 for detecting a temperature of the device body. The navigation unit 9 detects inclination of the device body. The ROM 6 stores a drive voltage table. The drive voltage table is a relationship among inclination, a temperature, and a voltage impressed to the motor 22 when the display unit 3 is discharged and when the display unit 3 is accommodated. The CPU 8 impresses the voltage to the motor 22 according to the drive voltage table based on the inclination detected by the navigation unit 9 and the temperature detected by the temperature sensor 18.
