PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an increase of the size of an engine body, and to avoid any interference of a driven bevel gear with a gear speed change mechanism while enhancing the degree of versatility on the arrangement of components of the gear speed change mechanism in a vehicular power transmission in which a driving bevel gear to be interlockingly connected to a counter shaft of the gear speed change mechanism built in the engine body, and the driven bevel gear arranged in a vicinity of a center of the engine body along the vehicle width direction and fixed to a front-and-rear-wheel driving shaft extending in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle are engaged with each other in the engine body. SOLUTION: In the power transmission, a transmission shaft 81 interlockingly connected to a counter shaft 54 and having the axis parallel to the counter shaft 54 is arranged below and behind the counter shaft 54, and a driving bevel gear 85 and a driven bevel gear 86 provided on the transmission shaft 81 are engaged with each other backward of the axis of the transmission shaft 81.
