PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a steel sheet for shadow masks by which the generation of irregular stripes is perfectly prevented. SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing the steel sheet for shadow masks, cold rolling is performed by using work rolls which are≤2μm in the circumferential runout in the roll radial direction.
