1,016,680. Floor slabs; floors. S. JAKOBSEN. Oct. 2, 1962, No. 29516/64. Divided out of 1,016,678. Heading E1V. A floor slab of reinforced concrete is formed with through ducts 2 extending between the slab ends and separated one from another by rib portions 3 which project beyond the ends of the ducts to form support projections for the slab. A floor of a building is formed by placing the slabs with the projections on supporting walls either before or after covering the ends of the ducts with plates 6 of millboard, and then pouring concrete or mortar into the spaces between the support projections. Slots 7 at the ends of each slab allow the ducts to drain to the underside of the slab and fillets 5 are secured near these ends to provide a bearing surface on the support projections. The slabs may be supported on the wall panels described in Specification 1,016,678.
|
