<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can be reduced in size and from which a photoreceptor unit can be easily and surely removed. <P>SOLUTION: A restricting member 89 is provided in the image forming apparatus which can be circularly moved between a restricted position and an allowed position. A minimum distance (B) between the restricting member 89 and a rail roll 130 in the restricted position in a guide groove 143 is smaller than an outer diameter A of a roll member 118 of a drum unit 26 and the drum unit 26 cannot be detached from a main body casing 2 even when pulled out to a second position. Therefore, since a backside holding part 113 and a front side holding part 111 can be held in the drum unit 26 in the second position, the drum unit 26 can be easily and surely removed from the main body casing 2 in a stable posture after having the restricting member 89 circularly moved to the allowed position where the minimum distance between the restricting member 89 and the rail roll 130 is made greater than the outer diameter A of the roll member 118. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
