PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily cope with a customer from a video image monitoring device 100. SOLUTION: The video image monitoring system includes at least a speaking system for speaking between two bases and a video image system which collects the image of an object to be monitored at a remote place to display the image of the object to be monitored on the video image monitoring device 100. The video image monitoring device 100 includes a software phone for speaking from the side of the video image monitoring device 100 to the object to be monitored, a function of extracting the telephone number of an auto phone 11 of a speaking destination surrounding a display image by clicking the picture displayed on the video image monitoring device 100 with a mouse, and a function of automatically starting speaking with the extracted telephone number.
