<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain current consumption when driving a part other than a light source while turning on the light source in a projection device. <P>SOLUTION: The projection device is equipped with: the light source; a modulation element to modulate light from the light source; a projection optical system to project the light modulated by the modulation element; a driving means to drive the projection optical system; and a control means to complementarily drive the light source and the driving means when driving the driving means while turning on the light source, in terms of power saving of the projection device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
