PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water discharge device capable of offering a favorable water current straightening effect even though a water volume increases. SOLUTION: This water discharge device 1, 30 is capable of discharging supplied water from its discharge hole; comprises a discharging body 8b equipped with a water supply duct extended in a horizontal direction and a discharge hole 8c opened in a vertical direction, current straightening plates 12 and 32 installed to the discharge hole of the discharging body in a direction from upstream to downstream, and a discharge unit 10 equipped with a current straightening net 14 and a current straightening cap 16 holding the net. The current straightening plates 12 and 32 have openings 12c and 32c for first water straightening formed in a horizontal direction along a side face at an upstream side extended in the vertical direction and also openings 12e and 32e for second water straightening formed in a vertical direction along a horizontal plane at an downstream side.
