PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust filter device for safely and easily performing a filter exchanging operation and its filter exchanging method. SOLUTION: An exhaust filter device 10 for an asbestos demodulation work is configured by installing a filter 20 in a casing 11, and providing the casing 11 with a connection port 13 for a duct for sucking air containing asbestos dusts from an upstream side asbestos demolition work job site through a duct and a connection port 14 for a blower connected to a downstream side blower, and installing a housing chamber 16 in which a bag 18 is housed so as to be folded outside the casing 11 and a port 14 for filter exchange on the outer surface of the housing chamber 16, wherein the bag 18 is mounted on the port edge 11a of the filter exchange port 14 so as to be air-tight and freely attachable/detachable, and the bag 18 is housed so as to be folded in the housing chamber 16.
