PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease an unnecessary X-ray irradiation to living tissues other than a site subjected to a diagnosis. SOLUTION: Projection data are collected by moving a top plate 4 in the direction of a body axis while an X-ray tube 11 is fixed in the front direction of a subject 30 placed on the top plate 4, and the range and the central position are set for a plurality of sites subjected to a diagnosis in the direction of the body axis of image data for imaging planning created from the projection data. Next, when the projection data in the plurality of sites subjected to a diagnosis is continuously collected by a helical scan method, the central position is arranged in the imaging center of the an X-ray CT apparatus or in the neighborhood by moving the top plate 4 in the lateral direction. In addition, a wedge suitable for the X-ray irradiation to the sites subjected to a diagnosis is selected from the range, and the projection data in a prescribed range centered around the sites subjected to a diagnosis is collected.
