METHOD FOR PROCESSING EXHAUST GAS IN DIRECT LIQUID FUEL CELL

Disclosed is a method for purifying an exhaust gas in a fuel cell which is directly supplied with a liquid fuel. By this method, raw material organic matters and incomplete oxides such as aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids, carboxylic acid esters, carbon monoxide and the like contained in the exhaust gas are efficiently and easily removed. Specifically disclosed is a method for processing an exhaust gas from a fuel cell to which a liquid fuel is directly supplied, wherein the exhaust gas is processed by using a water-repellent catalyst, in which platinum is supported by a carbon carrier, in the presence of an oxidizing agent.
