<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge cap which can prevent the weakening of the engagement of a lid body with an engaging tube of a cap body by making an upper end surface near a connecting piece of an outer peripheral tube push back an abutment part of the outer tube wall of the lid body, when the lid body is pushed against the cap body so as to descend, push the outer peripheral tube, and deform the outer peripheral tube itself, in the case that the hinge cap is put on a vessel. <P>SOLUTION: This hinge cap which is attached to a mouth tube of the vessel comprises the cap body and the lid body. The cap body comprises a pour-out tube, the engaging tube which is fitted into the mouth tube of the vessel, and the outer peripheral tube. A lid engaging part is protrusively formed in the upper part of the engaging tube, and the engaging tube and outer peripheral tube are continuously provided via the connecting piece and a weakened part. The lid body is equipped with a top wall and the outer tube wall, the inner periphery of the lower end of the outer tube wall has an engaging part which abuts on and engages with the lid engaging surface of the lid engaging part of the cap body when the lid is closed, and a recessed and thinned part are formed in a position to be engaged with the upper end surface near the continuously-provided connecting piece of the outer peripheral tube of the cap body in the closure of the lid on the lower end surface of the outer tube wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
