PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the demounting operation of a hinge module 3 in a mobile electronic apparatus wherein a pair of main bodies are connected by a hinge mechanism 30 in such a manner that they can be opened and closed. SOLUTION: In the mobile electronic apparatus, the hinge mechanism 30 is equipped with a frame 5 and the hinge module 3 supported on the frame 5. The hinge module 3 is equipped with a first shaft body 31 and a second shaft body 32 which are so engaged as to rotate relative to each other, and a hinge shaft 33 whose base end is intruded into the second shaft body 32. The second shaft body 32 has a hook 34 which is projecting from the shaft body to provide pullout-proof to the hinge module 3. In a portion 52 of the frame 5 designed to support something rotatable by a shaft, a through-hole 57 is formed wherein the hinge shaft 33 can be passed through, and an end of the hinge shaft 33 is intruded in the through-hole 57. The movement in the axis direction of the hinge shaft 33 is restricted by a restriction member 4 which is removably attached to the portion 52 of the frame 5 designed to support something rotatably by a shaft.
