PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a laminate for an HDD suspension which can meet the demand of ultrathinning of the laminate, can be subjected to fine wiring and is free from appearance defects by suppressing wrinkles or curls and is excellent in adhesiveness between a resin layer and an ultrathin copper foil. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the laminate for the HDD suspension the ultrathin copper foil as a conductor body, is characterized in that after a multilayer polyimide resin layer having a polyimide resin layer (A) on its surface is formed on the ultrathin copper foil which couples a support metal layer via a delamination layer by the coating/drying polyimide or precursor resin solution repeatedly, the polyimide resin layer is subjected to imidization, and heated to temperature equal to a glass transition temperature or higher of the polyimide resin layer (A) via the polyimide resin layer (A), and the resin layer is thermocompressed with a stainless steel sheet under pressure. Then, it is cooled down to the glass transition temperature of the polyimide resin layer (A) or cooler and the support metal layer is delaminated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
