PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic comprising ingredients having high antimicrobial activity and antisepsis power, and permitting stable blending. SOLUTION: The cosmetic includes at least one compound selected from the group consisting of polyhydric alcohols and alkyl ethers of the polyhydric alcohols, and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of terpene acids and terpene acid derivatives.
