PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt tension automatic adjustment device capable of having fewer components and facilitating assembly and adjustment of an automatic tensioner in a simple structure and reducing assembling and adjusting man-hours. SOLUTION: In the belt tension automatic adjustment device for an engine, a plurality of guide bars for guiding relative movement between a tension pulley support housing and spring case are arranged between the tension pulley support housing rotatably supporting the tension pulley and spring case in the automatic tensioner.
