PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rigidity of a front part of a car body without separately adding a reinforcing member. SOLUTION: In this front structure of a car body, a battery carrier 30 is provided between a radiator support upper 20 provided in a front part 12A of a front side member 12, which is arranged in both side parts of the front part of the car body in the state where longitudinal direction thereof is arranged along the back and forth direction of the vehicle, and a front suspension tower 26 provided in rear of the radiator support upper 20 in the front part 12A of the front side member 12, and the battery carrier 30 is connected to the radiator support upper 20 and the front suspension tower 26. Namely, the battery carrier 30 works as a reinforcing member for improving the rigidity of the front part of the car body by connecting the radiator support upper 20 and the front suspension tower 26.
