PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power not contributing to boring without influences on processing accuracy of a printed circuit board. SOLUTION: When there is a non-working spindle, a CPU 60 controls a power supply circuit 20 and a brake control circuit 40, and brakes movement of a spindle with a brake 51 so that a spindle under a non-restraining condition is not moved. The movement of the spindle is braked by the brake 51. The CPU 60 instructs stop of power supply into a drive circuit 30 to the power supply circuit 20. In this manner, by saving the power supplied to the drive circuit 30 and a Z-axis motor 6, power consumption can be restrained with a printed circuit board boring machine is activated.
