PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the drop of a toggle plate by protecting a jaw and also the deformation of a crusher frame even if a large lump of a material to be crushed is introduced into a supply port above a crushing chamber. SOLUTION: A jaw crusher comprises a fixed jaw 7, a swing jaw 8 placed opposing this fixed jaw 7 and being fluctuated, the crushing chamber 9 between the fixed jaw 7 and the swing jaw 8, the supply port 28 for supplying the material to be crushed to the crushing chamber 9 on this crushing chamber 9, a protection guard 33 for preventing the material to be crushed larger than a prescribed size from supplying to the crushing chamber 9 on the swing jaw 8 side of this supply port 28 provided so as to be detachably attached to a supply port frame 32.
