摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iontophoresis apparatus in which a power source does not have to be provided on the outside of action-side and non-action-side structures, or which can downsize the external power source. SOLUTION: This iontophoresis apparatus is equipped with the action-side structure which is provided with a first electrode, and a drug solution retaining part for retaining a drug solution containing a drug ion brought into contact with the first electrode; and the non-action-side structure which is provided with a second electrode, and an electrolyte retaining part for retaining an electrolyte brought into contact with the second electrode. When the drug ion is a cation, a single electrode potential, which is formed by using the first electrode and the drug solution, is set lower than a single electrode potential which is formed by using the second electrode and the electrolyte. When the drug ion is an anion, the single electrode potential, which is formed by using the first electrode and the drug solution, is set higher than the single electrode potential which is formed by using the second electrode and the electrolyte.
