A display device having a tape carrier package and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase adhesive force of a printed circuit board by forming a reinforcing dummy pattern on a cut portion of the tape carrier package. A display device includes a tape carrier package(64) connecting a panel(60) with a printed circuit board(62). A signal input unit(72) inputs a signal to the display device from the printed circuit board. Dummy members(80,82) are provided around the signal input unit, and are adhered to the printed circuit board. The dummy member and the printed circuit board are bonded by an anisotropic conductive film.
