<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly transmit and receive sampling waveform data requested in real time from one device to another device without occurrence of sound discontinuity between the two devices connected through a communication means. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding the musical sound controller, a CPU 1 reads out a musical sound data to be generated for a piece of music from a ROM 4 on a keyboard device 100, and requests a database device 200 via a communication interface 7 to transfer sampling sound waveform data corresponding to tone data set by the musical sound data and a switch part 3, and also specifies, according to the conditions of the piece of music to perform, whether data density of the transferred sampling sound waveform data is applied to the standard sampling sound waveform data or applied to a compressed sampling sound waveform data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
