<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording method capable of obtaining high image quality by adjusting light irradiation time after ink has landed on a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: In the ink-jet recording method using a light curing type ink, after the light curing type ink is discharged from a head onto the recording medium, light irradiation is started for 0.1 to 20 s. Particularly, the optical curing type ink preferably contains a compound having an allyl group and/or an N-vinyl compound.
