<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel cost of a hybrid vehicle having an engine and a generator motor as a driving source. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of transmission gear ratio candidates are calculated based on a vehicle requiring driving force, and a candidate of a specific power generation torque of the generator motor and a candidate of a specific assist torque are calculated relative to each of the plurality of transmission gear ratio candidates, and a plurality of combination candidates on a driving pattern between a plurality of engine output torque candidates and the specific power generation torque candidate and on a driving pattern between the plurality of engine output torque candidates and the specific assist torque are operated, relative to each of the plurality of transmission gear ratio candidates, and a fuel consumption equivalent amount is calculated in each combination candidate of each driving pattern, and a driving pattern wherein the fuel consumption equivalent amount becomes minimum is determined, to thereby always drive the vehicle with the best fuel cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
