<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an astaxanthin compounds-containing emulsion composition in which the diameters of emulsion particles are small and which is excellent in storage stability. <P>SOLUTION: This astaxanthin compounds-containing emulsion composition comprises, at least, an astaxanthin and/or its ester-containing natural extract, a fat-soluble emulsifier, a water-soluble emulsifier, and an aqueous solvent. The natural extract is preferably a Hematococcus alga extract, and the fat-soluble emulsifier and the water-soluble emulsifier have an HLB of ≤5 and an HLB of ≥10, respectively. The fat-soluble emulsifier is preferably a fatty acid monoglyceride, and the water-soluble emulsifier is preferably a sucrose fatty acid ester and/or a polyglyceryl fatty acid ester. The amounts of the added fat-soluble emulsifier and water-soluble emulsifier are preferably 0.001 to 10 mass%, and 0.001 to 10 mass%, respectively.
