PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress toner stuck to a developing unit during toner supply from sticking to an image carrier such as a photoreceptor drum in an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: the photoreceptor drum 11; a rotating frame body 131; a plurality of developing devices 132; a toner supply end sensor 32; and a control means 30. The plurality of developing devices 132 are supported by the rotating frame body 131, and also, including a toner supply port 132b provided to supply the toner from outside, and also, the devices 132 supply the toner to the photoreceptor drum 11. The toner supply end sensor 32 detects the end of the toner supply to the developing unit 132. When the end of the toner supply to the developing device 132 is detected by the toner supply end sensor 32, the control means 30 rotates the rotating frame body 131 so that the developing device ending the toner supply may be separated from the photoreceptor drum 11, and moves the developing device to a position where the toner supply port 132b of the developing device faces downward.
