PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control circuit for pulse motors wherein, preventing a pulse motor from being damaged even if a system including the pulse motor for applying linear or rotary motion to a predetermined machine element for a predetermined work fails. SOLUTION: A timer circuit 35 is provided. If a trouble occurs in a system including a pulse motor 103 from any cause and a motion command to a machine element 101 is not stopped as programmed, a current value switching circuit 33 switches a current value signal for determining the rotary torque of the pulse motor 103 so that a current value is reduced.
