PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for analyzing a tangible component in an inspected liquid and for automatically analyzing a tangible component such as blood cells contained especially in urine using an image analysis technology. SOLUTION: The tangible component analysis device has a process of setting humor to be an inspected liquid and coloring the inspected liquid, a process of imaging the inspected liquid colored on a translucent plate or in a flow cell or measuring the fluorescence intensity and scattered light, and a means for processing the imaged image, fluorescence intensity, or scattered light, and identifying the cell component.
