<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of recovering a decrease in the output of a fuel cell efficiently without enlarging a device, and to provide an operation control method of the fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system has an information processor 18 and a fuel cell unit 10. The fuel cell unit has a plurality of mutually laminated unit cells, a fuel channel for supplying fuel to the anode of a unit cell, and an air channel for supplying air to the cathode of a unit cell. The fuel cell unit also has a cell laminate for generating power by chemical reaction, and an air supply for supplying air to the cathode through the air channel. The information processor comprises an input section for inputting information, a display unit for displaying information, and a power supply control unit 77 for managing the operation of the fuel cell unit. The power supply control unit stops the generation of power in the cell laminate, when the power generation output of the cell laminate drops below a prescribed output, and executes maintenance processing for allowing air to flow through the air channel of the cell laminate from the air supply. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
