PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode plate for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having a void ratio enough to secure excellent permeability and electrolyte retention capability of an electrolyte, and having a low volume resistivity by ensuring excellent contact of conductive agent particles.

SOLUTION: This electrode plate for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having an electrode active material layer at least on one surface of a collector is composed. The electrode active material layer contains a void formation agent comprising at least an active material, a conductive agent, a binder and a coil-like substance.
