<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To observe an image with high image quality in post-reproduction while achieving real-time reproduction. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 10 sends out data while thinning them for the unit of an MPEG frame (I, P, B or the like) in accordance with a line status during photographing. After the stop of photographing, remaining MPEG frame data are transmitted. A receiver 50 reproduces a motion picture using thinned MPEG frames during photographing.
