PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To previously prevent generation of trouble by delayed arrival of a work to a machining line or the like. SOLUTION: A management device 20 is applied to a storage facility provided with a storage warehouse 1 of a slab and a ceiling crane 12 for conveying the slab W in the storage warehouse 1. The management device 20 has a management device body provided with a stock information memory means for memorizing the number of stock of the slab W, a various data memory means for memorizing the maximum number of superposed bodies formable on a slab yard 10, a reference time or the like, and a transferring time operation means for operating an expectation time of a required time when the object slab W is transferred from the slab yard to a conveying truck based on information memorized in the respective memory means or the like according to conveying requirement of the slab W; and a display device for displaying the expectation value determined by the transferring time operation means as a forecasting value of the required time.
