PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor hood of which a shutter is not demounted even when strong wind blows. SOLUTION: This outdoor hood 14 is constituted in such a manner that it has a base portion 4 having a cylindrical portion 2 fitted and inserted into a duct 1 communicating an indoor part and an outdoor part and having an opening portion 3 approximately at its center, and a hood portion 5 disposed in a state of forming an opening at an outdoor-side lower part of the base portion 4, a frame body 8 having shaft holes 7 at its right and left upper portions, is fixed to an outdoor-side surface 6 of the base portion 4, a shutter plate 9 is disposed at a position to close the opening portion 3 approximately at the center of the base portion 4, L-shaped grooves are formed on an upper end of the shutter plate 9 symmetrically, a metallic shutter shaft 12 having step portions symmetrically is locked in the L-shaped grooves, right and left end portions of the shutter shaft 12 are journaled to the shaft holes 7 of the frame body 8, and the opening portion 3 approximately at the center, can be closed and opened by wind pressure applied to a surface of the shutter plate 9, and the shutter plate is not demounted even when strong wind blows.
